Elyse Lauren, MA, AMFT, Associate
An important part of my life has been figuring out how to make a positive impact in the world. My journey to becoming a trauma and relational therapist is deeply rooted in my own experiences with trauma and the quest for healing, connection, and inner peace. During childhood, I endured a traumatic home life, often finding myself isolated and alone, wondering how to make the sadness and overwhelming feelings go away. In spite of these challenges, I was determined not to let my past dictate a miserable future or continue the cycle of dysfunction. Today, I bring everything I have learned into my therapeutic practice.
I strive to help others cultivate self-compassion, recognizing it as a vital component of emotional well-being and personal growth. This involves treating ourselves with the same kindness and understanding we offer to others, breaking free from the cycle of self-criticism, and fostering a sense of self-worth. By embracing self-compassion, we can navigate life's challenges with greater resilience and inner peace, paving the way for a more fulfilling and authentic life.
My goal is to support each person in embracing their inner strength and achieving a more fulfilling and peaceful life. I am here to walk alongside you on your journey, helping you discover the resilience and compassion within yourself.
